Summary/Objective: 

The Marketing + Customer Experience Coordinator is responsible for all interactions with customers, ensuring that they have the best possible experience. This includes supporting the administrative and production team in their efforts.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage phone, email, social and website communications assuring they are maintained and communicated in a professional manner daily.

  • Provide administrative support to Owner, General Manager, Director of Operations, and Product Development Manager.

  • Responsible for communication to customers regarding special orders; working with Product Development Manager to follow through. This includes a clear understanding of our product, and ability to understand and explain nuances between different makes & models of various vehicles.

  • Coordinate new and existing marketing Strategies (i.e. Facebook/IG updates, Vehicle Forums)

  • Participates as needed in special projects.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  1. At least two years of previous experience in office setting (preferred).

  2. Advanced working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word and CRM.

  3. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, or similar graphic design program.

  4. Proficiency in SEO strategies and Google Ads (preferred).

  5. Product Photography/Editing (preferred).

  6. Working knowledge of Email Marketing (preferred).

  7. Proficiency with Social Media Platforms and a Management/Scheduling program (i.e. Hootsuite, Later).

A day in the life of the Marketing + Customer Experience Coordinator can look like: 

  • Responding to customer questions/requests/testimonials through email, social media, Google Reviews in a professional & positive manner.

  • Coordinating with the Product Developer/Manager on custom projects to ensure we deliver high-quality products and communication to our customers.

  • Research Automotive Industry to provide valuable insights on model/year changes and how that may impact our highly custom product offerings.

  • Edit/Produce high-quality product images to showcase the benefits of our products.

  • Manage daily returns/exchanges in a timely manner by communicating with Production and the customer.

  • Create/Schedule engaging content for our social media pages that align with our company’s values to promote the Canvasback culture.

  • Explore opportunities for growth through paid advertising solutions such as Facebook Ads, Google Ad Campaigns and Email Marketing promotions.
